Our Approach to Netherlands Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) Applications

We build every Netherlands work visa journey around IND compliance. The Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) has clear rules on employer sponsorship, salary thresholds, and document standards. Our process is designed so that applications align with these requirements from the start, reducing the risk of requests for additional information or refusal.

Employer sponsorship coordination is central. The HSM route requires a job offer from an employer recognised as a sponsor by IND. We work with both the candidate and the employer so that contract terms, job description, and sponsorship paperwork are consistent and complete. This includes checking that the role and salary meet the applicable Highly Skilled Migrant criteria before anything is submitted.

Salary threshold alignment is non-negotiable. IND sets minimum salary levels by age (e.g. under 30, 30 and over). We verify that the offered salary meets or exceeds the correct threshold and that allowances and bonuses are presented in a way IND accepts. Gaps here are a common cause of rejection, so we address them early.

Our documentation review process covers identity, qualifications, employment history, and any supporting letters or translations. We focus on completeness, consistency with the employer's submission, and correct formatting so that IND can process the file without unnecessary delays.
